Commercial Real Estate News Volume 4 No 4 (37) April 2010 EuropaProperty presents the 5th annual SEE Real Estate Awards for 2009 Building on the success of the last four EuropaProperty SEE Real Estate Awards, EuropaProperty is proud to present the fifth annual SEE Real Estate Awards for 2009. The Awards will be held at the 5-star SAS Radisson Hotel in Bucharest, Romania, on May 27th. Last years Awards Gala was attended by more than 320 industry professionals from major companies operating in the Southeastern European commercial real estate, investment and construction industries. As an acknowledgment of the growing interest in, and sig- nificance of, the commercial real estate and related industries in Southeastern Europe, from both a development and investment prospective, the event covers Romania, Bulgaria, Croatia, Slovenia, Serbia, Montenegro, Macedonia, the Republic of Moldova and Albania. Awards are presented for companies, projects and profession- als operating in the region. Additionally, for the fi rst time, the Romania Green Building Council will be presenting the Romania Green Awards. An independent jury of real estate professionals will vote on all nominations before the event. The nominations with the highest scores will be put on the short list which is then published for the public and press. For transparency, independent audit and accounting company Ernst & Young administers, calculates and audits all results from the fi nal vote. To complement the fi ft h annual SEE Real Estate Awards Gala, EuropaProperty.com is organizing a series of discussion panels which will provide a current analysis of the rapidly developing markets of Southeastern Europe from the perspective of com- mercial real estate investors, developers, and consultants active in the SEE region, in addition to offering the opportunity to meet and network with leading market players.
